Artist Statement
I grew up being active, with a love for the outdoors. This is where I feel most alive and optimistic. I use my artwork, primarily in relief printmaking techniques, to make personal connection and meaning to life’s journey. This creative work often focuses on details, pattern and texture. Imagery is often derived from everyday objects and nature, often combining elements of both. I wish to connect the past with the present, to encourage adventurous thought and action, and to connect on a humanistic level. I believe this is the best way to learn and grow in an ever changing world. Jump into the unknown, unafraid.
